Only opended to commerical in 1995, the Bhote kosi offers a short two-day trip that can be run in the  winter months. It is, however, a very steep river with conditions ranging from grade 3 to grade 5 rapids at time of high flow. convenient from Kathmandu NB This can be an extremely chalenging trip which should be done only with an experienced rafting company. 

Day 1Depart Kathmandu early in the morning and travel out of the valley just three hours to our camp.

Day 2After breakfast we head further up the road towards the Tibet Border to the Upper more fiercer part of the river.

Itinerary

Day 1
Depart Kathmandu early in the morning and travel out of the valley just three hours to our camp. On arrival there is time to settle in and have an early lunch and raft briefing. After lunch we drive up stream and raft the lower section of the river, a classic big volume section of class 3 + whitewater. This is your warm up for the Upper Section tomorrow! There will be time for a rock jump, some raft games and some big splashie rapids. We finish up on the sandy beach at our camp where we will get a fire going and enjoy an evening under the stars.

Day 2
After breakfast we head further up the road towards the Tibet Border to the Upper more fiercer part of the river. Described as one of the best one day rafting trips in the world, this class 4 (4+) run is non-stop. Rapid you wil encounter include Frog in the Blender (says it all really!) and Great Wall among many others.
After lunch and packing up, we will jump back into the van and head back to Kathmandu for a well deserved beer, you will arrive back in Kathmandu around 7pm.

Trip Includes:
All staff, including highly qualified & licensed Guides and professional Safety Kayakers all fluent in English and holding up to date First Aid.
All camping equipment including toilet tents, shelters, air matresses, sleeping bags, tarps, personal tents etc. No additional charge for sleeping bag hire.
All meals and water whilst on the river. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and juice will also be provided. 
Transportation to and from the river by bus.
All equipment, including PFD's, helmets, dry tops, throw bags, dry bags, pelican boxes, wetsuits, paddles, etc all at international standards and regularly checked
